Quote of the Week: Yves St. Laurent

“Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.”

Iconic French fashion designer Yves St. Laurent died in Paris today. He was 71. Details of his death have not yet been released. From The London Telegraph:
The last of the traditional French couturiers, Saint Laurent dominated the catwalks of the 1960s and 1970s, translating what was happening on the street into elegant clothing that reflected more liberated times. Such was his influence that each time he started a trend, it was greeted as evidence of a new Zeitgeist.
I love this quote, as well:

“Fashions fade, style is eternal.”

but what does it say about me that my style is the T-shirt I slept in, augmented by sweat pants... at least till 2 or 3 in the afternoon?
I'm not positive, but I'm *pretty* sure it means you're a writer.
