The Blowjob That Changed History

It was 10 years ago yesterday that Matt Drudge broke the story of the blowjob that would ultimately -- and arguably -- alter history.

The Times Online takes a picturesque look back, while The Daily Show celebrates “Monica Lewinsky: Honoring 10 Years of Punch Lines”. (If you get the chance, get a load of Jon Stewart in his giant suits 10 years ago. What was that about?)

Kinda makes you nostalgic, doesn’t it? When the biggest political problem on everyone’s minds was where the American president was getting his. (“I did not have…”) It was a simpler time. A gentler time. Life has gotten so complicated since 1998!

Whenever I look back, even a few years, it always seems like such a better place. Maybe it's a function of growing older, but damn, who cares about blow jobs? It's even a joke in The New Yorker this week.
Who cares about blowjobs? But darling, don't you see? That's just the point!
