Important Life Lesson #1
It doesn't matter what you do. It doesn't matter what you eat or drink or how you choose to be merry. Whatever you think is good for you now, will prove to be bad for you next month (or next week or next year). And vice-versa. My most recent case in point is from The Guardian:
(Can you pass me a latté with a wine chaser, please?)
Drinking as little as one cup of coffee a day could help protect you from liver disease caused by alcohol, according to research published today.Last month, I whined about similar findings, though having to do with MSG. And it's really not so much a whine, as a caution: be careful how you choose your bandwagons; they're likely to change tracks when you're not looking.
People who drink one cup of coffee are 20% less likely to have alcoholic cirrhosis than those who abstain from doing so.
