In On Writing, Stephen King commented on his relationship with his wife, Tabitha:

Our marriage has outlasted all of the world's leaders except for Castro, and if we keep talking, arguing, making love, and dancing to the Ramones -- gabba-gabba-hey -- it'll probably keep working.

King, who is the author of over 50 bestselling novels, was born on this day in 1947.

Coming late to the party - probably got here via the Rap sheet - but I've gotta agree with King about the talking, arguing, making love, etc. I'm still trying to figure out how my husband and I have managed to last 31 years without killing each other. Must be the Ramones, eh?
