Oh boo-hoo, it's tough for his family. But maybe some of his younger relatives will learn that it is not okay to be cruel to animals. And in the long run, isn't that better for his family?
And if anyone out there starts going on about how we anthropomorphize, how we allow ourselves to feel more for animals than for humans - keep in mind all the studies that link animal cruelty with human cruelty, too.
