No Failure to Launch
The launch party for Death Was the Other Woman was a big success. The food was good, the company wonderful, the turnout even better than expected. My one regret: we didn’t get more pictures. The one included here was e-mailed to me by Donna Steeves. Thank you, Donna. (Shown are, from left, Michael Karl Richards, yours truly and David Middleton.)
Thank you to everyone who came for lending your presence to this special evening. It was wonderful to see so many old friends and colleagues, as well as to make some new connections I feel I may well come to cherish.
Thanks, of course, to Michael Karl Richards both for making The Shop available for the event as well as for the genesis of the three generational approach to the launch. Thanks also to David Middleton for curating the photographic exhibition.
The book is now fully launched and the reviews continue to flow in. New this weekend: The Hamilton Spectator, The Windsor Star and mentions in The Vancouver Sun and The Sacramento Bee (registration required).
