Is This How You Win the Graham-y Award?

I love being me. Being us. We live in such a cool time. Take, for instance, last night David asked what graham flour actually was. Other than an ingredient in HobNobs, we did not know. We asked Google, and Google spat Wikipedia up at us and so, almost before you could form the question, we knew more than we’d ever thought we oughta:
Graham flour is a type of whole wheat flour named after the American Presbyterian minister Rev. Sylvester Graham, an early advocate for dietary reform. According to the Larousse Gastronomique, Graham despised processed white flour and believed that bran was the cure-all for the bad eating habits of his compatriots.
So, there you be. And here we are. There actually was a Graham. Who’da thunk it? And he was visionary when it came to our innards. There’s more on graham flour right here.

I know I'm not supposed to trust it (remember that Stephen Colbert experiment with changing the info about African elephants?), but I find myself going to Wikipedia more and more. Perfect for this kind of casual question. Are we getting smarter because of Wikipedia? I don't know. Maybe we should start an entry on that.
I like Wikipedia fine. And sure: it's fallible; but what isn't? At least, in this case, if it's broken, I have the technology to fix it, if you follow.

I love the democratic nature of the beast. I love the easily digestible, non-pretentious format. I love that I can play, too. I love that it loads fast.

I love that I can just plug things in and there will an answer of SOME sort, even if an incomplete one.

Ah... yu-uh. Exactly. I can tell you stuff that's made *with* it but, prior to this little foray, I could not have told you what it was.

I can now.
