Fashion designers of the 1930s would be so unspeakably disappointed in us.
The future they envisioned was so… whimsical. In this video, I especially love the idea of the wedding couple: the bride wearing glass, the groom wearing “a worried expression.”
I want the special belt that adapts us to climactic changes. (Though I’m fairly certain no one was thinking of global warming when they dreamed that up.) And check out the phone on the dude. Year 2000? That phone looks more 1985. So they missed it by 15 years, no big deal. The hat? Now that’s a big deal.
